In this lesson Year 3/4 children learn what fronted adverbials are and how to use them to develop their sentences.

First, the resource provides a definition of fronted adverbials with examples before children discuss them as a whoe class. 

Following this, learners complete a range of activities to assess their understanding. The activities are differentiated - Bronze, Silver and Gold - to provide challenge for children of all abilities.
