Year 3 -  Number - number and place value

In this maths teaching resource, pupils are introduced to 3-digit numbers and begin to understand that they are made up of 100s, 10s and 1s. They identify numbers in different representations on a place value chart and write them in numerals.  These activities cover the year 3 curriculum objectives listed above and supports the White Rose small steps guidance for year 3 - Autumn - Block 1 - Place Value.
